I’m always underwhelmed by how GoPro and iPhone videos take the extreme out of extreme terrain. This morning’s descent of Browns Mountain was fairly steep, where the video is taken. And that wall we came down in Moab was almost vertical! The videos make them look like no big deal. I’ve tried wide angle and telephoto. Image stabilization certainly plays a role, but I don’t think it is solely to blame. I’d be interested to hear others experience with action video, and how they more accurately represent the actual lay of the land. Leave feedback below. Thanks!!!
